We are looking for a new dedicated production planner for our state-of-the-art paint factory
Job Purpose
Do you want to contribute to efficient planning at Jotun? Are you motivated by high standards and infinite improvement processes? As member in our planning team, you will contribute to continuously ensure smooth series production processes and constantly high production outputs for our state-of-the-art paint factory. You will also contribute to raise the efficiency of the factory by regularly upgrading the related processes in the production organization.
We are looking for a Production planner to join our planning team in Sandefjord.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production workflow on short- and long-term in ERP system, ensuring correct demands for production and purchasing.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Being involved in for phasing in and out products and ensuring the site has correct Master data in the ERP system.
- Organize and lead daily operational planning meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor production progress to ensure they finish on time
- Cooperate closely with warehouse, production, filling and process/QC and other departments on site to have relevant information to make quality decisions on planning and capacity utilization.
- Regularly review and update the ERP system planning data parameters according to Jotun Operations System.
- Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities and follow up on agreed KPIs.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports. Attend and report status in meetings with sales and costumer service.
- Contribute to the team with utilization of exciting system tools to develop, coach, and guide team members to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Logistics or similar
- 1-3 years work experience from Supply Chain
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
