Job Description

• Perform estimation, studies, engineering, and design work for various projects.

• Develop solutions and interfaces in close collaboration with operations and customers.

• Participate in offshore surveys, FAT testing, and installation follow-ups both offshore and during yard stays.

• Provide support for coordination, mechanical completion, and commissioning.

• Ensure project delivery within time and budget, contributing to overall success.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of experience.

• Relevant work experience may compensate for formal education requirements.

• Additional certification as an electrician, instrumentation, or automation professional is advantageous.

• Familiarity with regulations for electrical installations in marine settings (PTIL, NORSOK, ATEX, IECEx, OLF, DNV, IEC).

• Experience with modifications of fixed and mobile drilling units on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

• Knowledge of IECEx and ATEX equipment and regulations is preferable.

• Experience with project deliveries and customer expectations in the offshore drilling and green technology sectors.

• Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD and Febdok.

• Safety-conscious and environmentally responsible.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.

• Ability to work independently and within teams, with strong computer skills.
