Executive Underwriting Operations, Skuld Energy

Our team is growing and we have an exciting vacancy in our underwriting team in Oslo. As an Executive, Underwriting Operations in Skuld Energy, you will be part of a world leading marine insurance provider where service and competence is key. You will support the Underwriters in Skuld Energy with quotations, renewals, enquires and covers.

Responsibility and authority:

• Assist with the quotation processes: Drafting quotations and assist handling the renewals, new enquires and cover amendments:
• • Issue documentation
  • Update databases and IT systems with entries, issue statistics, lists, invoicing and various other reports
  • Help store e-mails and create check list
  • Keep overview of the clients and brokers
  • Manage information flow in the team
    
    
• Marketing activities:
• • Stay up to date on and gather knowledge about own market area
  • Prepare presentations and marketing material
  • Keep new business enquiries and existing members/clients lists up to date
  • Business travel as required
  • Work in compliance with Skuld Underwriting guidelines

Your experience should include:

• Higher relevant education, minimum Bachelor's level
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
• Able to take responsibility for specific work tasks of varied complexity, with minimum supervision
• Can maintain good customer and broker relations
• Can handle large workload and meet strict deadlines
• Will actively seek guidance from more senior personnel
• Excellent English communication skills - verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in teams
• Service minded and effective, with attention to detail
