Do you want to help build offshore wind farms?

We are looking for a senior Contract Manager to support our sales and project teams serving global customers in the offshore wind industry. This central role involves participating in projects from tender to completion, ensuring all contractual matters are adequately addressed and managed with a view to ensur the preservation of balanced risk and terms throughout. The position requires coordinating with project, engineering, commercial, legal, and insurance resources within the company and related companies, as the case may be.

Main work task will comprise:

• Implement and manage contract and commercial management standards and tools within the Fred. Olsen Windcarrier group of companies
• Draft, review, qualify, and negotiate contracts, charter parties and subcontracts
• Support commercial managers in tender processes to drive new sales
• Ensure all insurance requirements are aligned before submitting tenders
• Review guarantee and bond requirements, and secure necessary corporate approvals before contract execution
• Identify major contractual liabilities and assist project managers in handling projects according to client contracts
• Review and qualify Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Promote contractual awareness within the organization
• Throughout interact and calibrate as appropriate with the legal department of Fred. Olsen & Co. AS
• Some travel is required, mainly in Europe, but also to the US and Asia

Qualifications we look for:

• Relevant Master's degree or equivalent (law degree will be considered an advantage, but extensive legal/contractual experience may substitute formal education).
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in the offshore wind, installation, or oil and gas industry
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing large international contracts; knowledge of BIMCO and/or FIDIC contract standards is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is a plus
