Location: Eggemoen Airport, Hønefoss (50 min from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen)

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Part 145 maintenance organization, focused on servicing medium and heavy twin-engine helicopters such as the AW139, AW169, AW189, and others. You will lead the process of obtaining Norwegian CAA approval and ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a skilled team of maintenance professionals, including mechanics, technicians, and support staff.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team competency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and foster career development.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Obtain and maintain authority approval as the nominated post-holder (NP) for the Part 145 organization.
- Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations, EASA standards, and other aviation requirements.
- Keep detailed maintenance records and coordinate audits to ensure continuous adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Safety & Quality Assurance:
- Champion a strong safety culture within the team, promoting continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate safety risks, ensuring all maintenance work is of the highest quality and adheres to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement protocols to maintain exceptional operational readiness.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the maintenance department's budget, optimizing resources and controlling costs related to labor, parts, and equipment.
- Strategically allocate resources to meet operational demands while ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as Operations, Engineering, Power Plant, Safety, and Compliance Monitoring, to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance activities.
- Report to senior management on the status of maintenance operations, challenges, and achievements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or another relevant technical field
- Strong knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part-CAMO and Part-145
- Previous experience working in a maintenance organization is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and individuals at all levels
- Strong organizational skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Proven experience in resource planning and managing operational efficiency
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in MS Office
- No criminal record

Norwegian Aero Solutions AS is a newly established company in Norway. Our state-of-the-art facilities are located at Eggemoen Airport, just outside Hønefoss, and a short 50-minute drive from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (OSL).
As we lay the foundation for future success, we’re in the process of receiving approval from the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and are seeking driven professionals to help us achieve this milestone.
