The challenge

We’re starting from scratch. With a passionate team, we are building an entirely new energy system that empowers people to manage energy with ease. Our product vision involves connecting traditional AC systems with modern DC solutions, enable seamless energy sharing, and smart charging of homes and industry.

The challenge lies in translating this technology into a product that is scalable and resonates with users through intuitive design and powerful aesthetics.

Your mission

Our mission to you is clear - take our vision and turn it into a real product that is scalable, looks great and user-friendly.

You'll lead the design of Starflow’s energy solutions, ensuring that they not only function seamlessly but connect with people on a personal level, and thus cementing Starflow's position as a leader in the energy landscape.

What you will be in charge of

As an industrial designer at Starflow, you’ll be more than just a designer - you’ll be a problem-solver, innovator, and leader in shaping how our technology is experienced by users.

• Product design - from initial sketches to final production, you’ll own every element of the product, ensuring it’s tested, refined, and perfected for the real world.
• Prototyping and iteration - rapid prototyping and testing will be essential as you refine the product, collaborating closely with engineers to balance technical constraints and creative possibilities.
• Material and manufacturing decisions - you will ensure our designs are scalable for mass production while balancing sustainability and quality.
• User-centered design - you’ll make sure the technology is intuitive and user-friendly, creating seamless interactions that make advanced systems feel simple.
• Brand identity and strategy - you’ll influence everything from product design to marketing materials, ensuring that our core values - boldness, integrity, and truth - shine through.

Who we seek

We hope that goes without saying that we're looking for someone with experience in taking advanced products from concept to production. So let's instead take a closer look at the additional skills we're looking for:

• Experience with integrating different components - you’ll be working with microcontrollers, PCBs, sensors, and other internal elements, ensuring they work together to create a seamless product experience
• Deep understanding of how humans interacts with products - you understand that great design isn’t just about how a product looks - it’s about how people feel and engage with it. You’ll design experiences that connect with users on a deeper level.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes - you know how design impacts cost, sustainability, and scalability, and you’ll ensure our products are practical for mass production without compromising on quality.
