Accounting Manager (temporary)

Are you a skilled Accounting Manager looking for your next challenge? We're seeking a temporary resource in a 1 year assignment to lead the accounting and audit processes in Havfram.

Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Preparation of annual statements and notes.
• Oversee the preparation of management reports.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports.
• Ensure that all VAT filings meet the corresponding deadlines.
• Confirm and oversee that entries, transactions and accounts are accurately and properly consolidated and are included in internal and external reporting.
• Ensure that reports, filings and documentation comply with the company's regulations.
• Assign and review work and provide guidance on complex accounting tasks.
• Ensure the team is up to date on current accounting practices and regulations.
• Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including corporate tax filings and audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with all ESG reporting and advise on development within the ESG reporting.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in Accounting and/or Auditing.
• Broad experience in accounting and audit processes.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills, with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and preparation.
• Experience with internal controls and financial risk management.
