What will you do?

• Contribute to experimental design, protocol development, and project advancement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations
• Enhance lab capabilities in bacteriophage detection, isolation, characterization, and culture
• Develop tailored phage products and cocktails for diverse applications
• Leverage your expertise in bacteriophage production, microbiology, and bioprocessing
• Support both early-stage discovery research and later-stage process development

What do you need to succeed?

Required qualifications and skills:

• Master’s or PhD in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields
• 3-7 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related industries, with a focus on bacteriophage research, development, and production
• Strong expertise in bacteriophage discovery, isolation, and characterization
• Hands-on experience in culturing bacteriophages, optimizing growth conditions, and developing scalable production processes
• Proficiency in techniques like PCR, plaque assay, and phage-host interaction analysis
• Experience with bioprocessing equipment, such as bioreactors or fermentation systems

Desired experiences and skills:

• Familiarity with biomanufacturing, industrial microbiology, or fermentation
• Understanding of commercialization processes for new products and technologies
• Experience with genomic analysis and phage trait identification
• Ability to develop and implement assays for phage concentration, purity, and activity
• Proven track record of leading or managing research projects or teams
