Job Description:

• Represent the Company and the Procurement department in a professional manner
• Perform all purchasing activities including invoice handling in accordance with Company policies, goals, and vessel & Client specific procedures.
• Secure a good understanding of the Client contract with special focus on the procurement protocol and ensure daily adherence the Client specific procedures.
• Actively contribute to Client meetings – taking responsibility for full understanding and follow up of all Client specific requirements for Procurement related issues.
• Ensure that purchase orders are awarded on the most cost effective and technically competent basis with minimum risk and operational exposures to the Company;
• Updating of the procurement system with all needed and relevant PO data;
• Communicate and follow-up towards relevant external parties throughout the complete purchasing process;
• Evaluate the commercial and operational impact of changes and deviations requested from suppliers and implement actions as required;
• Assist, support and contribute to development of IT tools in use, and maintenance of these when requested.
• Handle claims and dispute in a professional manner towards all relevant parties.
• Prepare and participate actively in the supplier evaluation process.
• Assist and prepare reports, statistics and presentations, being present in meetings, internally and externally, as required.
• Contribute to a common team understanding and work towards the same company goals within HSSEQ, cost reduction and level of service.
• Contribute to a good working environment in office and a positive spirit in the department and office.
• Contribute actively to a good interaction, understanding and communication with allstakeholders as required.
• Contribute to a cost-conscious awareness and commercial active attitude within the department as well as in the Company
• Supervision and training of other procurement positions related to performance of all steps in the FLNG procurement process.
• Select bidders and issue RFQ’s
• Evaluate and propose solutions and suppliers for further approval in accordance to FAM
• Issue Purchase orders for goods, services and logistic arrangement after relevant approvals are met

• Minimum 5 years procurement experience, preferably from the oil & gas/marine shipping industry.
• Market knowledge and supplier network.
• Some administrative, technical and/or seagoing experience and background
