IT Infrastructure Manager

Corvus Energy is a growing global company with a wide range of systems spanning from OT to IT and into the cloud. The role of the IT Infrastructure Manager will be central to ensure that the organization runs smoothly and that our systems are maintained and operational. 

Security is an essential aspect that spans the entire chain of services in IT, from client management to cloud infrastructure. Making sure our systems and services are monitored and secure is one of the primary responsibilities of the IT Infrastructure Manager. 

Our growth also means adopting new systems and extending existing systems in an organization that is in a state of rapid change. It is therefore important for the IT Infrastructure Manager to see new possibilities in the implementation and usage of systems and services so that we grow efficiently as an organization. It's the infrastructure manager's responsibility to ensure that the implementation of such systems happens in a coordinated manner. 

We are a company with a significant cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, and a global presence. Familiarity with the Azure cloud and Microsoft 365 suite is therefore a plus. The position is reporting to VP Global IT. 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage IT infrastructure of the organization, including client hardware, servers, software and infrastructure

• Maintain and manage the Microsoft 365 and Entra ID suites

• Manage cloud infrastructure of the organization, including VMs, networks and certificate chains

• Train the organization in efficient use of IT systems

• Help convert the needs of the organization into Digital/IT solutions that support their objective

• Support and guide the organization in the use of IT systems

• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure a timely delivery of IT services and support

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant education at BSc level

• Relevant experience from a similar position, preferably from an international company

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, preferably Azure)

• Experience with secure client, network, and authentication solutions

• Experience with monitoring, testing, automated build and deployment tools

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Well-organized and capable of multitasking a variety of ongoing projects and initiatives

• Co-operate well with others, share knowledge, experience, information, and support others in the pursuit of reaching the team goals

• Ability to travel internationally
