Principal Process Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Process Engineer to provide technical expertise within the area of process. As part of the Process Team, you will have the opportunity to support Vår Energi's development projects, contribute to increasing the expertise within the team and work with the operated assets.

Main tasks

Main tasks will vary depending on your background but will consist of tasks such as:

• Support and contribute to Project Design Basis and scope of work development for process discipline, systems and topsides facilities
• Lead process discipline in the design and development of complex engineering projects
• Collaborate with multidiscipline project teams to define project scopes and objectives
• Oversee project process discipline progress, quality assurance, and deliverable adherence
• Participate in project technical and assurance reviews
• Manage advanced technical analyses, simulations, and feasibility studies
• Manage interfaces with vendors and other operators
• Identify safety, environmental and financial improvement opportunities
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineer degree, Bachelor or Master, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of NCS regulations and standards
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Be able to communicate in both English and Norwegian
