We are located in Bergen, with large, modern facilities for the production, testing, and development of ValveWatch.

Responsibilities:

Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ and the Qt framework.
• Implement database integration and manage database interactions within applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Database Management:

• Design and optimize database schemas to support application requirements.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database triggers.
• Ensure database performance, security, and reliability.

User Interface Design:

• Develop intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interfaces (GUIs) using Qt.
• Ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end databases.
• Conduct usability testing and make improvements based on user feedback.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements.

Problem Solving and Optimization:

• Analyze and resolve complex software and database-related issues.
• Optimize application performance and improve user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure continuous improvement

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and database tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and fix defects.
• Maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.

Project Management:

• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
• Track project progress and report status to management.
• Ensure timely delivery of software components and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• Strong technical competence.
• Experience with modern development tools and methods.
