Sr. Project Manager

We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager who can lead and manage field development projects aligned to business strategy. Strong understanding and experience with project management techniques. Strong change management skills, experience leading key changes across project functions. Manages the total project scope; identifying risks, dependencies, overlaps and conflicts, both within and outside of area of responsibility, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Proactively contributes to the transformation of the Project Development model, with the aim of creating a project organisation that is scalable, flexible, efficient, and high performing.

Main Tasks

• Responsible for leading and overseeing strategically important projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Frame and shape projects, goals and drivers in line with business objectives
• Take full responsibility and ownership of project business case and stakeholder management
• Be a visible Project Leader and role model and develop roles in project team
• Promote a strong safety culture and implement safety measures
• Form integrated project teams in collaboration with functions; set direction, observe and support
• Ensure quality in decision making at gates and through phases
• Ensure fit for purpose project organisation in collaboration with Project Excellence
• Assess project performance and identify improvements

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Business Administration, Engineering, or a technical certificate in Construction Management
• Over 15 years of relevant experience, including within an Operator environment
• Experience in leading successful early phase field development projects and execution projects, including subsea tie-back projects to existing infrastructure
• Experience of E&P license management in project phases and broad understanding of all functional integration into E&P projects
• Extensive experience with managing facilities execution contracts subsea and topside. Knowledge on strategic partnerships is beneficial
• Fluent written and spoken English
