In this operational role, you will be responsible for supporting and monitoring rotating equipment across all our operating FPSO assets as part of our multidisciplinary technical support HUB. While your primary responsibility will be providing back-office support, some offshore travel is also expected.

Some of the things you will be doing:
- Actively participate in our multidisciplinary technical support organization, providing operational support to all of Altera's operating assets.
- Evaluate the integrity of rotating machinery components.
- Participate in root cause failure analysis within the area of responsibility.
- Specify, follow-up, and monitor condition and performance monitoring systems related to rotating machinery, including developing long-term strategies.
- Contribute to an effective workflow and work split with the operational organization and other technical support disciplines.
- Participate in the execution of studies, tenders, modifications, and projects.
- Develop philosophy documents and specifications.
- Contribute as necessary in technical investigations and inspections/audits.
- Ensure that all activities, for which you are responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements, and the Altera Management System Manual, procedures, philosophies, and specifications.
- Contribute to experience transfer within the company across assets.
- Participate in offshore inspections and investigations.
Some of the things we are looking for:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of rotating equipment offshore.
- Experience with and a good understanding of rotating equipment in the Oil and Gas industry (Generator sets, compressors, pumps, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of codes and standards for rotating equipment.
- Experience with and a good understanding of maintenance networks (Siemens, Dresser Rand, Solar, Man Turbo, Wartsila, etc.).
- Proficiency in engineering software for compressor control.
- Experience with compressor tuning.
- Experience in maintenance planning.
