Finance & Administration Manager
Position Overview
LMG Marin AS is experiencing growth and therefore seeking a motivated colleague for a newly created position as Finance & Administration Manager. The position involves administration of company finances, coordinating the administration, and executing corporate reporting. Since this is a newly established role, it offers the flexibility to be tailored to the candidate’s skills and experience, with responsibilities gradually transferred from relevant colleagues. The position involves management of a small administration team of 3 persons, liaising with the parent company and subsidiary offices, and reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Financial Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage company’s finances and accounting operations.
- Develop and maintaining company financial budgets in dialogue with project managers and commercial team.
- Prepare and deliver corporate financial reports on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Lead the annual audit process in partnership with external auditors (KPMG), culminating in the preparation of the annual report for approval by the general assembly
- Drive improvements and ensure that financial tools and procedures remain current and effective.
Office Administration Responsibilities
- Serve as main contact point for corporate communication.
- Execute and coordinate corporate reporting on human relations, sustainability, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and HSE.
- Manage and coordinate the administration team on day-to-day operational matters.
Qualifications
- Proactive, team building, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Ability to work independently as well as in multi-discipline teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Any additional experience/qualifications related to HR, HSE and/or QA is of interest.
Limited experience is not a barrier. The ability to develop expertise beyond the core required competence of the position can be facilitated for the candidate through internal training, as well as courses and education.
