Telenor is now seeking a Director, Strategy and Operations for the Office of the Telenor Group CTO (Chief Technology Officer).

Reporting to the Vice President and Head of Group CTO Office, you will serve as a trusted partner to the Group Technology Organisation and Management Team. Your charter will include delivery of Group CTO operations based on the organisation’s annual wheel, being an advocate for team health and culture, and managing internal and external content strategies.

Some of your main responsibilities:

• Support Group CTO corporate governance activities and business operations including business reviews, reporting, Executive and SteerCo meetings, and townhalls.

• Participate and support relevant technology programs with content creation, project management, and facilitation.

• Orchestrate and manage activities that foster and improve employee engagement and knowledge sharing.

• Own the development and execution of the Group Technology internal communications strategy.

• Own external communications workstreams including events strategy, and support the ongoing development and positioning of Telenor’s technology story in market in partnership with relevant stakeholders and Telenor Communications teams.

• Create strong partnerships with key stakeholders, and act as a liaison between Group Technology and Business Areas in the wider Telenor organisation.

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree.

• 4+ years relevant work experience in roles that involve strategy and operations and/or management consulting, content development, and executive support and coordination.

• Track record of effective operations management and contributing to complex transformation projects, preferably in large corporations.

• Strong capabilities in content development, with the ability to translate highly technical information and present this in a way that is simple and meaningful to a specific audience.

• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Experience in the technology or telecom sector is an advantage.

• Excellent English skills.
