Senior Data Engineer

Reports to: Vice President of Engineering

We are committed to our future growth and building a global team. Today we're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us in our Oslo office. #LI-Hybrid

You will focus on consolidating data transformation processes into a cohesive, rationalized framework, eliminating unnecessary distributed repositories and tools and manage and refine our core data infrastructure technologies for the extraction, transformation, and usage of data. 

On a typical day, you will:

• • Work as part of the data team managing the data platform. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Develop scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks to ensure data integrity. Resolve data discrepancies and anomalies.
  • Improve the quality of the codebase as it develops. Document data workflows, schemas, and processes for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor data pipelines and systems for performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  
  

We imagine you will bring:

• • Proven 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools, and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with data pipeline development and data warehouse infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools like Grafana, and log management tools. Experience setting up and interpreting performance metrics and alerts to monitor the health and performance of data pipelines.
