An exciting position as Finance Director - Commercial is available at Orkla House Care AS (OHC).
We are looking for a dedicated leader to develop our Finance team within Sales and Marketing to meet the existing and future needs of our international organization, which is currently present in UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Benelux and China.
In this role you will contribute to develop the Finance function by harmonizing internal and external processes, increase efficiency in processes, deliver high quality financial services, incorporating new digital tools, but most importantly ensure that the Commercial team is in on the journey towards our future ambitions.
Our Finance Commercial team are currently located at our Sales units in Norway (Oslo), Sweden (Bankeryd), Denmark (Vallensbæk), UK (Bromsgrove) and Benelux (Antwerp), partly working separately under local management and partly under central governance. We are now combining our resources within Commercial under
one management and are seeking a leader to take that position. Commercial will be responsible for providing Controlling and Financial Management to all Business Units within Sales and Marketing within the OHC Group.
Work location will be Oslo (NO). Some travel will be required.
The position will be a member of the OHC Finance Leadership Team and report to Group CFO of OHC.
We are looking for a strategic and unifying leader with experience from controlling, financial management and change management, to ensure that our Commercial team and other stakeholders fully embrace the chosen direction. The ideal candidate should be a team player with highly developed interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and cohesion within the team and across various stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement a strategy for Finance Commercial, ensuring it is anchored with the overall strategy for OHC, and supported by all key stakeholders.
- Implementing common procedures in the Business Units to ensure processes are done the "OHC way".
- Develop and improve monitoring processes and ensure full overview of all significant financial implications of key operational activities within Commercial.
- Responsible for the day-to-day deliveries from the Finance Commercial Team ensuring high quality and efficiency.
- Identify and lead key initiatives in finance that support overall strategic goals.
- Ensure all business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria.
- Ensure all deliveries are compliant with laws and regulations as well as internal principles and procedures.
- Be at the forefront in the digitalization journey and point the direction while balancing the development and implementation of new or improved tools and processes, and upholding quality and service level standards today and in the future.
- Specialize in support and analysis of a sales/GTM unit, incl. profitability analysis and deviation analysis.
- Budgeting, forecasting and periodical reporting.
- Initiate, carry out and distribute relevant reports and analysis related to products, customers, segments, salespeople, and competitors.
- Optimize pricing in home markets.
- Cooperate with Operations to optimize the position and profitability of OHC.
- Inspire, lead and develop employees, both individually and as a team.
- Being accountable for talent development and succession planning
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance. Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Experience from relevant management positions within controlling, finance or similar from an international Sales/GTM environment.
- Good knowledge of financial standards and procedures within Sales and Marketing and reporting requirements.
- A strong interest for IT and new or improved tools and processes.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
