Can you support our finance functions?

We’re looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. You’d be based Bergen, Norway.

Working in partnership with our scientific and marine experts, you’ll be part of our centralized corporate services department, helping accelerate and advance our business. 

In this role, you’ll work to ensure Financial management systems are kept up-to-date and accurate. You will have a focus on invoice processing and wider reporting and audits, working with the wider team to meet Shearwater standards.

Technically speaking…

You’ll be qualified in Accounting, Business or other Finance related subject with previous work experience being beneficial.

Your analytical skills will be a strong foundation on which the finance team will be able to support your development, enhancing your skills and knowledge.

In personal terms…

We’re looking for a positive mindset and a can-do attitude with a desire to learn and improve. Compliance is key so attention to detail and accuracy are a must.

Finally, working within a global company you will interact with a wide and diverse population meaning communication skills are essential.
