To further ramp up our team and join in on our mission for global E-Commerce growth, we are strengthening our E-Commerce team with an E-Commerce Product/Platform Manager
The E-Commerce Product/Platform Manager will oversee the overall strategy, optimization, and growth of the e-commerce platform. This role will drive feature development, improve the customer experience, and ensure our markets are well-aligned while allowing for localized differentiation. This position will serve as the glue between the existing roles of the Norwegian and US E-Commerce Managers, serving their needs as well as a range of other exiting responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Platform Leadership: Take ownership of the overall e-commerce platform’s performance and innovation, with a focus on improving customer experience and driving business growth.
- Feature Development & Roadmap: Work closely with the regional E-Commerce Managers to identify opportunities for new features, tools, or enhancements that will improve the platform’s functionality.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Regularly analyze platform performance, using key metrics (e.g., conversion rates, bounce rates) to guide product and feature optimization.
- Cross-Market Coordination: Ensure alignment between the content and product strategies in Norway, Europe and the US, while accommodating local market differences.
- User Experience: Collaborate with the UX/UI teams and regional managers to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and high-performing customer journey across all devices and regions.
- A/B Testing & Iteration: Conduct A/B tests on key platform/UI/UX areas (banners, product pages, calls-to-action) to refine and improve performance and user experience.
- Collaborative Leadership: Lead the coordination between the Norway and US E-Commerce Managers, ensuring smooth implementation of shared and localized initiatives.
- Agile Methodology: Use agile product management frameworks to manage development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of new features and platform updates.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in product/platform management, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
- Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and CMS tools (such as Centra, Storyblok).
- Proficiency in using e-commerce analysis tools such as GA4 or similar and Klaviyo (email-marketing)
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-market projects.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience using data to drive product improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on aligning international teams.
Shared Responsibilities with other E-Commerce Managers:
- Performance Tracking: All managers will contribute to the ongoing analysis of KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, and sales performance, using this data to refine strategies in content, product offerings, and market positioning.
- Campaign & Promotion Coordination: Work together to align promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing efforts across markets, ensuring a consistent brand voice and maximized impact.
- Customer-Centric Strategy: Collaborate on initiatives to improve the customer experience, ensuring that content, product offerings, and the overall platform meet user expectations and business goals.
- Innovation & Growth: Identifying and implementing new features, tools, and strategies that can enhance the platform’s performance globally.
