Job Description

• Develop and implement procurement strategies.

• Prepare and issue inquiry documents for large equipment and services in close collaboration with the engineering team.

• Conduct commercial evaluations of quotations.

• Create and manage complex procurement orders and contracts.

• Oversee suppliers to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and at the right quality level.

• Handle variations, including professional handling of risks, deviations, and invoices.

• Ensure that all procurement processes adhere to work instructions, and procedures.

• Act as the single point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers.

• Continuously seek improvement opportunities to reduce risks and costs while enhancing delivery quality and collaboration.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, Engineering, or similar.

• Solid experience in procurement is required.

• A high level of commitment and the right attitude may compensate for a lack of formal education or specific work experience

• Strong commercial mindset and contractual understanding.

• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, with excellent communication skills.

• Flexible, positive attitude with strong collaboration abilities.

• Structured and systematic approach to tasks.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP ERP is an advantage.
