Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
The position
By joining our team in Technology, Digital & Innovation you will have the opportunity to:
- Join the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) in Equinor who are responsible for detecting and responding to cyber threats as well as delivering Cyber Threat Intelligence and Cyber Awareness services to end users and leadership.
- This position sits in the CDC Engineering team working on infrastructure and software tooling involving the latest technologies.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, test, and deliver infrastructure, pipelines, and automation.
- Optimise and maintain cloud-based systems for scalability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Implement DevOps practices and automation for continuous integration and deployment.
You

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (work experience may compensate for formal education).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT with experience in Cloud technologies.
- Proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and GIT.
- Experience utilising GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools like Bicep and ARM templates.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with container orchestration, including technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Driven by automating processes and services.
- Fluency in verbal and written English.
