We currently have an exciting opportunity for Subsea Engineers to join our offshore Team.
The Subsea Engineer`s tasks and responsibilities are, but not limited to, following:
- Operate and maintain sub sea related equipment such as; riser tensioners, diverter, slip joint, control unit, pressure testing equipment, choke manifold etc in accordance with all applicable operating and maintenance procedures as advised by Subsea Supervisor.
- Ensure that Drilling Unit at all times has the necessary supplies and spare parts for operation and maintenance of all subsea related equipment on board in accordance with inventory policy.
- Ensure that all maintenance records are filed in the maintenance system.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout his/her area of responsibility.
- Carry out BOP tests and drills in accordance with authorities, operating company's, manufacturer's and COSL requirements.
- Ensure that all reporting routines and documentation is carried out, such as: daily sub sea engineer log, maintenance records, BOP/manifold/HP test sheets, Ton cycles on tensioner wires, updating of service and instructions manuals, instructing procedures etc.
- Ensure that all orders and instructions given or received are fully understood and adhered to.
- Ensure that before any work on high pressure system is started, a proper investigation/isolation of the system has been carried out.
- Ensure that precautions have been taken, restricted area set up and the "work permit" has been signed
- Ensure that all relevant tools are available and in good order at all times.
Suitable applicants should ideally have:
- Passed a vocational training programme acc. to NOG024 leading to a trade certificate within Drilling & Well Technology, or other similar studies with spesialization in Mechanical / Hydraulical or Electrical vocational studies.
- Relevant experience
- Fit to work offshore
- Basic Safety Training - NOG
- Offshore Medical Certificate
- G20 Knuckle Boom Crane Cert.(Fastmontert hydraulisk kran)
- G4 Overhead Crane Certificate (Traverskran)
- Hose press course
- Hydraulics Advanced
- Hydraulics Troubleshooting
- Rigging course (O 2.2 + 3.2)
- Scaffolding user course
