Construction Project Manager
Role Description
The Construction Project Manager for Norway is responsible for driving operational efficiency and ensuring brand integrity by managing the process from site identification to store opening. As a strategic leader, you will focus on project management, design, and capital management, ensuring that every project is delivered on time and meets our business objectives. With a focus on collaboration, you will work closely with local teams and external stakeholders to align development goals with the overall company vision. Upholding the brand image and design standards while optimizing costs and maximizing ROI will be essential to the role.
The Construction Manager plays a key role in overseeing the full lifecycle of store development within Norway. This includes the planning, design, and execution of both new store openings and remodels. The role demands expertise in construction, capital management, and project management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with the brand's aesthetic and functional standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop a robust pipeline management system that tracks key dates and deadlines, ensuring on-time project delivery.
- Implement a site investigation tool to streamline site selection processes, reducing inefficiencies and saving time.
- Lead regular meetings with local development teams to keep projects on track, address potential challenges, and ensure the achievement of annual targets, both for remodels and new store openings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create a catalog of concepts, including varied store footprints and formats, to unlock growth opportunities in urban, regional, and greenfield locations.
- Develop a cost-efficient remodel model that maximizes ROI and gains approval from all relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee internal and external architects to ensure a unified brand image across Scandinavian locations, while creating a profit center from design services for franchise partners.
- Partner with the Supply Chain team to devise cost-saving strategies through bulk ordering, aligned with the yearly development plan across Scandinavia and Europe.
- Provide expert guidance to local teams on construction and maintenance issues to foster collaboration across different markets and regions.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and proposed solutions to ensure that targets are met.
- Manage regular communication to ensure that actions are taken promptly and followed through effectively, coordinating these efforts with local teams.
- Accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget, ensuring compliance with the company's operational and financial targets.
- Responsible for maintaining the brands aesthetic and functional standards throughout the construction and remodel processes, ensuring that each project aligns with the companys overall vision.
- Ensure efficient capital allocation and resource management, balancing cost-saving measures with the need for quality and brand consistency.
- Build strong relationships with local teams, external architects, and franchise partners, ensuring smooth project execution across the region.

- Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work closely with internal teams, franchise partners, and external architects, fostering collaboration and alignment on key initiatives.

- A strong understanding of brand aesthetics and construction requirements, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction management, restaurant development, and brand management, with a focus on driving efficiency and maintaining brand standards.
- A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects, including budget oversight, stakeholder coordination, and timeline management at least 5 years.
