As an Environmental Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our environmental strategy for drilling and well activities. You will offer expert advice, conduct environmental assessments, and ensure compliance with both national and European environmental standards.

Job Description

• Manage and oversee the government application and permit processes related to D&W activities.

• Contribute to risk assessments, ensuring all environmental factors are addressed.

• Serve as a key liaison for government correspondence, maintaining clear and effective communication with authorities.

• Provide expert consultation on energy management strategies and emission reduction initiatives.

• Oversee internal and external reporting on key environmental parameters, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure duty of care is exercised in collaboration with suppliers and rig owners, maintaining high standards in environmental performance.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Relevant higher university degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.

• 5-10 years of experience in environmental advisory roles, ideally within the oil and gas industry.

• Extensive knowledge of Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and European regulations and environmental standards.

• Proven experience in developing environmental impact assessments for large-scale projects.

• Expertise in the oil and gas sector, with a deep understanding of industry practices and strategic needs.

• Fluency in both English and Norwegian is essential.
