About Odfjell Engineering

Odfjell Engineering is an integral part of Odfjell Technology, comprising teams of highly skilled multidisciplinary engineers, project managers, package responsible engineers, and support staff. Our offices are located in Bergen, Stavanger, Aberdeen, and Manila.

We are currently experiencing an increase in activity across our project portfolio and are looking to expand our team. We are seeking motivated, proactive, and ambitious Senior Planners to join us in Bergen. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in managing projects from concept through to completion.



Job Description/Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Planner, your key tasks will include:

• Project Planning: Prepare detailed project plans for various phases, including offshore campaigns.
• Project Evaluation: Assess project planning needs, contribute to the creation of the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and develop a plan that serves as a useful tool for the project team.
• Reporting & Quality Control: Participate in the preparation and review of reports, documents, and drawings.
• Client Interaction: Attend meetings with clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all project requirements from authorities, clients, and Odfjell Drilling are met.
• Progress Reporting: Report on project progress, and deviations to both clients and Project Managers.
• Scheduling: Establish and manage multi-discipline project schedules for different project phases, such as FEED and execution.
• Monitoring: Follow up with the project team to monitor and adjust the project schedule as needed.
• Procurement: Track procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Manpower Planning: Conduct manpower reviews using tools such as histograms and S-curves.
• Other Tasks: Perform other planning activities specific to each project's needs.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Higher technical education or relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong IT skills,
• Safran or Primavera proficiency minimum10 years
• Familiarity with IFS and SAP systems.
• Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English (written and oral).
• Experience in Studies, FEED, and E&I projects.
• Strong technical and multidisciplinary understanding.
• Practical experience in yard or offshore installation work is an advantage.
• Norwegian language proficiency is a must .Minimum Level C1.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and solve complex problems.
