As Novenco navigates towards future growth in the Navy and Renewable Energy sectors, it is positioned to secure a leading position in the international market. In alignment with this strategic direction, Novenco needs to strengthen the team with two sales managers.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead international projects, professional growth and the excitement of making a real difference on a global scale. The position will be an integral part of Novenco's journey toward sustained growth.
Key responsibilities
- Be Novenco’s main contact person and take responsibility for timely preparation and quality level of tenders for projects to our international clients in accordance with their requirements and specifications.
- Maintain and build relationships with new & existing customers.
- Close cooperation with Novenco Business Development & Sales Team to decide on sales strategy for each tender based on market information, knowledge of competitors and supply chain.
- Organize and lead a tendering team with internal & external resources from various departments such as engineering, contracting, procurement, planning, QA/HSE.
- Take responsibility for bid clarification, meetings and negotiations until closing business deals aligned with Novenco procedures.
- Prepare and send inquiries to sub-suppliers for pricing of the various equipment packages.
- Prepare price calculation of the technical scope based on input form suppliers and reference prices
- Develop and provide information – internally and towards clients - which is requested as a part of the tendering process.
- Cooperate and coordinate with other Novenco sites and our agent network.
- Act as a communication interface with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, management and all internal company departments during bid stage.
- Travel for meetings with clients all over the world, sometimes on short notice
Qualifications
- Experience from sales to major players within offshore oil&gas, offshore wind or navy industry. Candidates with experience from project execution and the right mindset can also be suitable for the position
- Ability to read and understand both commercial and technical requirements
- HVAC educational background or related experience will be an advantage
- Good communications skills in English, spoken and written. Scandinavian language will be considered as an asset
