Installation Engineer for Exciting Subsea Projects!
Are you an experienced engineer in the subsea field looking to work on complex projects from start to finish? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and skilled Installation Engineer to join our team in Lysaker, Oslo. This role allows you to engage in all project phases, from early business development and feasibility studies to the execution of offshore installation operations.
About the Role:
As an Installation Engineer, you will play a key role in defining and developing installation methodologies and procedures. Your work will involve both office-based tasks and offshore operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Main responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed installation methods and procedures for specific installation scopes
- Participating in project teams to plan and prepare for offshore installation campaigns
- Creating equipment lists for procurement and delivery to vessels
- Technical follow-up of subcontractors and procurement support
- Planning and participating in offshore installation operations
- Preparing technical drawings
- Supporting FEED, study, and tendering activities
- Ensuring a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) throughout all tasks
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 3-15 years of experience in subsea projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- A positive, collaborative attitude
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
