Are you our new Account Manager?
We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Single point of contact against defined customers
- Presentations towards customer and end-users, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Responsible for strategic meetings towards customers.
- Make budget and forecast for managed accounts
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Follow up quotes, make sure we have hot-list overview
- Make communication matrix/Account plans for designated customers
- Close cooperation with colleagues in Inside sales and AM team to establish the best commercial and technical offer to meet clients’ needs
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Provide sales support for other colleagues in the team and advise on best practice
- Troubleshoot / problem solve issues, escalating any urgent issues immediately to management
- Work proactively to increase margin to achieve budget
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Stand out as a role model, promote and fulfill MRC core values and commit to continuous improvement
Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
- Technical sales experience
- An understanding of oil and gas, renewables and land based industry specifications is preferable
- Engineering background – ideally mechanical or automation
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written in both Norwegian and English
