Tietoevry Banking is looking for Product Lead
We are looking for a Product Lead who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking. Tietoevry Banking is the leading financial services software and solution partner in the Nordics. We offer modular, pre-integrated banking as a service solutions and market-leading software for core, payments, credit, cards, financial fraud, and wealth. You will be part of the Card and Account Product Management department within Cards, we deliver scalable and modular Card as a Service software to financial institutions across Europe. As Product Lead you will manage the product strategy, processes and development of our Card Management System. Our system is built by unmatched industry experts, it is used by some of the largest financial institutions in the Nordics, and we are integrated towards the card networks like Visa and MasterCard.
The Product Lead will be responsible for the Card Management System and the surrounding team, it plays a crucial role in ensuring that the product meets the needs of our customers, and you will be part of accelerating the digital transformation of financial institutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, sales, compliance, and our customers. You will report to the Head of Card and Account Product Management.
When joining Tietoevry Banking as a Product Lead
- You will define, maintain and follow up the strategy and vision of the product, making sure it is in line with business- and financial objectives.
- You will decide the product roadmap, prioritization, release management, and similar.
- You need to understand our customers’ needs, their market, future growth opportunities, competitors.
- You will manage the team of skilled Product Managers, Business Analysts, Service Architects, Testers, Developers, with more. Note: you will have the responsibility to manage the team, but you will not hold the personnel responsibility.
- You will be responsible for stakeholder management for both internal and external parties, and make sure that the cross-functional collaboration is optimized.
- You will be responsible for driving process changes in the team and making sure that the team is following the defined processes.
- You will be part of marketing the product, sales processes, and be a “trusted advisor” to our customers.
Who we are looking for
- Experience as a Product Manager or similar role, knowledge and experience of working with product development processes.
- Experience in defining and managing a products’ vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Experience or knowledge in managing a team with different skillsets.
- Personal attributes like hands-on, proactive, curious, and independent. You are pragmatic and easy to collaborate with.
- You are confident in presenting and talking in a professional setting, often to/ with product leaders and management professionals.
- You are fluent in a Scandinavian language (Norwegian or Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Technology is developing fast, so learning new cutting-edge technologies is something you strive to do.
We also believe you have
- Interest or knowledge in agile product development frameworks.
- Interest or experience from working in financial services.
- A bachelors- or master’s degree, most likely within finance, economics, business or IT. Personal experience and personal attributes are the most important for this position.
