Ready to Take on New Challenges as Our New Mechanical Engineer? 🌍
As our Mechanical Engineer, you'll provide technical and engineering support for pump and compressor repairs and refurbishments. You'll oversee the repair process, working locations in Bergen Sandsli and Horsøy. This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience while working alongside skilled professionals and taking technical ownership of your own projects.
What You’ll Do 🔍
- Provide expert technical support to project managers and workshop teams during repairs.
- Drive project planning and follow-up, ensuring repairs are executed efficiently and to high standards.
- Contribute to design reviews and collaborate with engineering to solve technical challenges and implement design improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), identify underlying issues, and propose solutions to prevent future problems.
- Develop and implement standard repair procedures, optimizing processes and maintaining quality.
- Participate in FAT and SIT testing for multiphase pumps, ensuring performance meets specifications.
- Work closely with customers and vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration for the best possible results.
- Demonstrate the OneSubsea "RESPONSIBILITY" core value of "NO ONE GETS HURT AND NOTHING GETS DAMAGED."
Who We Are Looking For 🛠
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Subsea Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in mechanics and problem-solving.
- You are a self-motivated individual with a positive mindset and a strong team player.
- Proactive and a good communicator who enjoys working with customers and vendors.
Additional Plus If You Have ✅
- Experience with rotating equipment such as compressors and pumps.
- Craft certificate/fagbrev (preferred, but not required).
- Experience with Creo, is an additional plus.
