Business Development Manager – Aftermarket

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to develop and lead our efforts in sales and aftermarket segment.
As the Business Development Manager for Aftermarket, you will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales, increase revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction in both primary sales and aftermarket services. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship building, and sales expertise.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and revenue streams within the various segments.
- Ensure seamless coordination of customer meetings and activities to present our products and services effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Perform maintenance planning activities for customers, coordinating with spares, technical support and sales support.
- Secure service agreements for strategically important customers.
- Take ownership of customer satisfaction, serving as the primary escalation point of contact for customer concerns.
- Act as the main contact person for defined customers, facilitating communication and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate departments or individuals within our organization.
- Prepare commercial proposals for new functionalities, modifications, and retrofit/refit/conversion solutions in line with our product lifecycle philosophy.
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis and customer feedback.
- Manage and update customer information in the CRM system to ensure accurate records and effective relationship management.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Projects and initiatives to drive sales growth in the aftermarket.
- Travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support business activities.
- Take lead on constructing and designing strategy of aftermarket division for operational execution part.
- Option of leading Aftermarket division for the correct candidate.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field, preferably.
- Proven experience in aftermarket sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of aftermarket services, sales and marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required.
