We are looking for a skilled HSEQ Manager to join our team and lead our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality efforts across Seatrench’s diverse project portfolio. In this key role, the HSEQ Manager will implement and elevate HSEQ standards, ensure full compliance with industry regulations, and foster a culture centered on safety and quality. The role involves overseeing all aspects of HSEQ, providing expert guidance and strengthening Seatrench’s commitment to safety and high-quality operations at every level. This position offers an exciting opportunity to travel extensively, allowing you to explore diverse locations, engage with new clients and colleagues, and gain valuable experiences in various environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HSEQ initiatives to support Seatrench’s operational goals in the offshore and nearshore services sector
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ procedures, standards, and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant ISO certifications and accreditation norms
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and establish control measures to mitigate risks
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, ensuring all team members are knowledgeable in HSEQ best practices
- Monitor and evaluate HSEQ performance, preparing reports and recommending improvements as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing safety and quality in all aspects of operations
- Support Seatrench's teams both in Norway and abroad, with a willingness to travel for short-term assignments
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 10–12 years of proven experience in HSEQ within mechanical, offshore, maritime, or related industries
- Relevant HSEQ education and certifications, with strong familiarity with ISO standards
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational changes and improvements
- Skilled in creating HSEQ procedures, standards, and operational guidelines
- Strong team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams
- Preparedness for occasional international assignments as required

- Proactive risk management skills with a strong decision-making capability
- Competence in designing and managing training programs to promote a safe work environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills, ensuring efficient execution of HSEQ initiatives
