People Technology Specialist- Talent & Performance
What we're looking for
We’re seeking a Global Product Lead to oversee and enhance our Workday platform, focusing on Talent & Performance (e.g. employee reviews, talent reviews & calibration, succession planning, skills). In this role, you’ll be the go-to technical expert, responsible for system design, configuration, administration and support. You’ll work closely with the process owner for Talent & Performance and other stakeholders to refine processes and ensure the platform evolves with business needs. From managing ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting to driving release updates, optimizing features, and collaborating with the organizational development team to set direction and roadmap for developing new processes, your role will be both strategic and hands-on.
You might have deep expertise in Workday, or you could be an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of talent development processes and a knack for technology. Either way, your ability to combine technical competency with excellent people skills will ensure success in this hands-on, collaborative role.
If you’re passionate about driving impact at the intersection of HR and technology, we’d love to hear from you!
With us, you will:
Join the People Technology & Analytics team, working closely with three dedicated colleagues in people learning and development technology, while being part of a global HR community of 200 professionals. Together, you’ll drive impactful solutions and empower stakeholders worldwide to fully utilize our talent, performance, and learning technology resources.
As the People Technology Specialist for Workday HCM Talent & Performance, you will:
- Oversee Platform Development & Maintenance: Take ownership of platform configuration, global implementations, and ongoing maintenance. Lead activities such as updates, enhancements, and initiatives aligned with the annual HR wheel.
- Drive Platform Optimization & Innovation: Partner with process owners to refine existing functionality, explore new processes, and integrate emerging features to enhance platform usability and efficiency.
- Create & Deliver Training: Collaborate on designing and developing resources to help stakeholders use our talent and performance technology effectively.
Our department has undergone an exciting transformation, redefining work processes and establishing best practices. Your role will be to build on this momentum—continuing to develop, standardize, and innovate our approaches.
What we’re looking for in the right candidate:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a combination of strong people skills, project management experience, and technical capabilities. You enjoy working in a global environment, driving processes, and advancing talent and performance initiatives in a dynamic, ever-changing setting.
What we assume you already bring to the table:
- Experience with Workday Talent & Performance modules (or similar systems), or a solid background in talent and performance processes within HR, along with a strong interest in technology.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and coordinate workflows across teams.
- Digital and technical proficiency, with the ability to identify and communicate how technology can enhance employee experience and deliver business value.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
As a person, we believe you excel at:
- Execution: Managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, including independently designing and configuring solutions.
- Adaptability: Successfully navigating periods of change, such as evolving business needs, with the ability to pivot and re-prioritize when necessary.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about improving the employee experience, with a customer-centric mindset and familiarity with design-thinking methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
- Collaboration: A proven ability to build strong partnerships with internal teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
