Engineering the Future: Become Our Next Mechanical Engineer in Repair or Development🌍
We are looking for two skilled Mechanical Engineers based in our modern facility at Horsøy. Â
Repair Department 🔧Â
In this role, you’ll oversee the repair, inspection, assembly, and testing of subsea equipment such as pumps, compressors, and swivel systems. Your focus will be on optimizing repair processes, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and maintaining high-quality outcomes. You’ll collaborate with workshop technicians and engineering teams to streamline workflows and manage multiple projects effectively.Â
Development Department 💡Â
For development we are’re looking for innovative thinkers who thrive on pushing boundaries and developing cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you won’t follow the standard – you’ll set it. You’ll focus on creating new technologies, improving existing systems, and driving innovation in subsea equipment development.Â
How Your Day Will Look 🧠Â
- Provide Technical Expertise: Support the repair, testing, and assembly of pumps, compressors, and swivel systems.Â
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize repair processes and create solutions.Â
- Design & Analyze: Ensure components meet technical specs and review documentation like PFDs and P&IDs.Â
- Prioritize Safety: Adhere to HSE standards in all repairs and testing activities.Â
- Ensure Compliance: Follow company procedures and regulations to maintain high-quality outcomes.Â
- Coordinate Projects: collaborate with teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver cost-effective, timely solutions.Â
- Drive Improvement: Identify and resolve technical challenges to enhance performance.Â
- Report & Comply: Regularly submit required safety and compliance reports.Â

Who We Are Looking For 🚀Â
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Technology, Subsea Engineering, or a related field.Â
- Fluency in English, tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in mechanics and problem-solving.Â
- You are a self-motivated individual with a positive mindset and a strong team player.Â
- Proactive and a good communicator.Â
Bonus Skills âś…Â
- Hands-on experience with rotating equipment like compressors and pumps.Â
- Familiarity with subsea production systems and cutting-edge technologies.Â
- Craft certificate/fagbrev Â
- Experience with CAD tools such as Creo, AutoCAD, or similar Â
- Understanding of advanced mechanical systems, from design to repair and troubleshooting of complex components.Â
- Experience with hydraulic systemsÂ
