Data Scientist - SATS

As a part of Data & Insights in SATS, you'll work with the latest technologies and collaborate cross-functionally to enable and encourage data-driven decision-making. You will work end to end with business problems, where business understanding and personal skills will be essential, in addition to your technical and statistical qualifications.

Examples of what you will do in this role:

• Collaborate with other teams to understand business needs and identify problems where advanced data analysis and modelling can play a significant role.
• Prioritize which problems to solve and how, utilizing both traditional statistical methods and machine learning depending on the situation.
• Manage data science projects end-to-end; from inception and data collection to model development, deployment and maintenance.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and communicate to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Keep up to date on data trends, applying new techniques and technologies where beneficial.

To succeed you should have:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree within a technical and/or quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics or economics.
• Minimum 3 years experience working as a Data Scientist and a proven track record of using data to drive business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate well in a matrix organization and engage people through good collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with services and tools in our data stack (Azure, Snowflake, dbt) and strong SQL capabilities is a big plus, but a strong motivation and ability to learn can compensate for lack of experience.
