We are seeking a visionary Chief Engineer who will play a crucial role in steering our technology innovation and strategy, leading the transformation of Reverse Vending Machines (Panteautomater). In this key position, you will drive groundbreaking projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop impactful solutions that align with our overarching vision and mission.

Main responsibilities:
- Set the overall technology vision and strategic direction
- Oversee and engage in key technology projects
- Ensure alignment on technology issues
- Represent and lead The Solution Hub initiatives across the line organization and venture technology discussions
- Develop business cases for technology advancements
- Plan and execute internal competence development and training within core technology
- Manage external stakeholder, vendors and communities
Qualifications:
- Master of Science (or PhD) within Engineering
- 10+ years in technology management within hardware-software environments, with a proven track record in managing high-performing technical projects and teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in developing and delivering operational hardware and software solutions to customers. Deep understanding of (embedded) software development principles, methods, and tools
- Skilled in preparing and delivering briefings and analysis with firm conclusions/recommendation
- Experience with multi-disciplinary teams, project/program execution, and system architecture
- Eager to learn and develop oneself and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
