In the coming years, Novenco focuses on developing the two main segments Navy and Renewable energy, as we have identified an opportunity for Novenco to take the lead position in the Norwegian market. 

Due to successful bids and ongoing contract awards we are looking to strengthen our dedicated team in the refrigeration discipline department. The refrigeration department is responsible for following equipment within the Novenco project group.  

·      Dx room cooling split units

·      Water chillers

·      Pumps and pump skids

·      Valves and inline water system components  

·      Fan coil units (Dx and chilled water)

·      Cooling coils in AHUs

·      Gas coolers and dry coolers

·      Controls and electrical panels (good understanding)

·      C02 cooling systems and understand natural refrigerants

·      Knowledge of offshore rules, regulations and standards (including ATEX equipment )   

Key responsibilities

Secure as minimum, but not limited to, the following:

·      Personal responsibility for project execution as PRE (Project responsible Engineer) for refrigeration package

·      Act as Novenco representative on refrigeration towards customer

·      Act and control Novenco Sub- suppliers 

·      Hold regular project engineering meetings

·      Issue documentation to offshore standards

·      Carry out inspections and factory testing of equipment

·      Keep deadlines and project planning for all equipment within refrigeration discipline  

·      Select refrigeration equipment and issue RFQs to manufacturers

·      Refrigeration system design pipe sizing, component selections etc.

·      Product Owner as defined in the Product categories and responsibilities matrix, Know the products and give advice on product selections to the organization

·      Know the price levels of the products

·      Know the suppliers of the products

·      Evaluate new suppliers of the products in coordination with Procurement Department

·      Keep technical info for the products updated and available to the organization

·      Keep selection softwares of the products updated and available to the organization

Qualifications

·      Master / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / HVAC/ref Engineering or equivalent

·      And / or chief Engineers certificates Merchant and or Navy

·      And / or Technicians diploma qualification with practical experience in refrigeration 

·      Relevant experience from Engineering and Project Execution in offshore or marine

·      F-gas certificates (if possible )

·      PED and ATEX experience / certificates training

·      Offshore and/ or Marine refrigeration experience (Technician or Engineer) 

·      Practical training certificates based on refrigeration systems from large suppliers (Bitzer, York , Carrier etc. )

·      Understanding about quality related activities associated with delivering equipment (i.e. PMI, NDT, etc.)

·      Basic / intermediate knowledge about manufacturing processes

·      Intermediate understanding of material selection and / or surface preparation

·      Must be able to work with all programs in Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD

·      Good communications skills in English, spoken and written
