Organizational placement
The position is reporting to the Director Human Resources North West Europe, with a dotted line to the Managing Director HAVI Norway and is part of the Norwegian Management Team.
Overall responsibilities
The HR Specialist is overall responsible for the organizational development and talent agenda of Norway. In this role the HR Specialist is end to end responsible for all people processes including recruitment, performance and talent management, learning and development, engagement and DEI.
As a member of the management team, the HR Specialist operates as a business partner striving for a high performance culture and will guide change processes to ensure the growth of the company and supporting managers and employees. Being part of the Global HR community the HR Specialist ensures that HR priorities and practices and policies are in line with HAVI global policies, management systems and that they meet the HAVI local needs, culture as well as local laws and regulations.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The main activities of the HR Specialist include, but are not limited to:
· Deliver on global and cluster HR strategy in alignment with local business strategies.
· Drive the annual people processes such as Performance, Goal Setting, Compensation and Talent Management incl. Development.
· Role model of the HAVI culture and Values.
· Support the Diversity and Inclusion strategy and translate this a local/cluster approach.
· Drive the employee engagement process towards the managers.
· Organisational design and development in collaboration with managers.
· Change Management – guiding and challenging leaders, with labour law and union negotiations.
· Ensure a positive psychosocial work environment, including rehabilitation.
· Head the talent acquisition; drive recruitments and employer branding processes.
· Keep good relationships to internal and external stakeholders incl labour unions.
· Lead one HR specialty within Cluster such as DE&I, Talent etc.
· Digitalization of HR Tools and processes according to company strategy within HR.
· Overall responsibility for the collective agreement area and solid knowledge in Labour laws.
· Ensure Compliance standards including policies, Speak up, GDPR, Code of conduct etc.
Authorizations
Within the framework of corporate policies, instructions, culture, management systems and budget and in alignment with the Director Human Resources and Managing Directors make, decisions necessary for successfully running and supporting the business.
Main areas of contact
Apart from superior and subordinate staff; other departments within the company/group, as well as labour union, suppliers, concerned authorities and customers.
Competencies
- University degree psychology, international business, law, HR Management or similar.
- HR experience; 3-5yrs of experience in HR advisory role, managing general HR tasks, business partnering. Experience with global/International matrix organisations.
- Solid Leadership skills and competencies. Self-drive and self-managed.
- Excellent communication skills in business Norwegian and English in verbal and in written.
- Good understanding about the labour market, relevant laws and union agreements.
- Ability to set right priorities, high drive and strong execution combined with strategic mindset.
- Process improvement, digitalization development; implementation of HR system into Success Factors.
- Open and inclusive mindset and behaviours displaying, with ability to build trust relations
- Great judgment, communication style and ability to deal with conflict and difficult situations
- Pro active and improvement focus in way of working
