Vice President Mergers and Acquisitions

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the M&A team in KDA as Vice President Mergers and acquisitions. The role is responsible for the M&A activities across KDA, as well as providing support on other strategic projects.

In this role you will have direct impact on the strategic direction of one of Norway's leading technology companies. You will be responsible for the M&A strategy, identifying a target list of M&A opportunities develop M&A roadmap, be responsible for execution of M&A transactions and support the integration and synergy captures. In this work, you will be working closely with our colleagues in KONGSBERG Corporate Development and other senior management at KONGSBERG.

To succeed in this role, it is imperative that you have a strong financial and business acumen. As a person, you are analytical, structured and able to manage combined teams effectively.

You will report to the EVP Business Development & Strategy and be part of KDA Business Development & Strategy Department. This is a hybrid role that requires regular, on-site work in Kongsberg. However, you will have the opportunity to work from your home office or one of our other offices in Norway.
The role involves domestic and international business travels.

Qualifications and experience

• Master's degree in finance or industrial economics with strong academic results
• At least 5 years' relevant working experience within M&A
• Significant experience in leading M&A transactions
• Excellent numerical and logical reasoning skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
