Senior backendutvikler - Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in PHP and Laravel to join our elite team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building scalable and efficient backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Work directly with our US tech startup partner, contributing to groundbreaking projects.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years in backend development with a focus on PHP and Laravel.

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• A good brain and problem solving skills can outperform education.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Familiarity with Java, C++, Python, or other relevant programming languages is a plus.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) is beneficial.
• It's looked upon as positive if you are a decent React/Vue developer, but this is not a demand, backend skills is.

Languages:

• Fluent in Norwegian is preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills; international candidates with proficiency in English are encouraged to apply.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
