Available position as Equipment Supervisor - Are you our new team member?
We are expanding our department and are now looking for a Equipment Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the Maintenance System (consumables, spare parts, service, and tools).
- Control and execute all rig requests related to system updates.
- Re-order common spare parts (min/max levels).
Assets:
- Monitor the fleet’s balance of assets (technical equipment and financial assets).
- Control and ensure the correct location of all equipment.
- Register and activate new equipment (templates and items) and related documentation.
- Manage periodic maintenance of common equipment (preservation/de-preservation).
- Assist MA Coordinators and Storekeepers with manifesting equipment.
Repair:
- Coordinate and follow up on goods returned for repair (equipment and spare parts).
- Organize and approve technical documentation, file, and connect to the maintenance/document system.
- Work closely with maintenance supervisors and the technical department to stay within the repair budget.
Project & SPS:
- Plan equipment replacement and repair strategy with project engineers/technical department.
- Perform and log all replacements.
- Coordinate the use of spare parts for repair/classification jobs.
- Follow up on all documentation throughout the entire project.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Higher technical education or technical college.
- Relevant experience from similar work can compensate for higher technical education.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and oral.
- High degree of data discipline is required.

We have a solid owner with stable ratings in China Oilfield Services Limited, listed at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, with ambitions to strengthen its foothold in the North Sea.
Our four semi-submersible drilling rigs were delivered from the yard respectively in November 2010 (COSLPioneer), November 2011 (COSLInnovator), May 2012 (COSLPromoter) and November 2014 (COSLProspector). The first drilling operations started in Norway in August 2011 and COSL Drilling Europe has since then been in continuous operation drilling and completing wells in Norway, UK, Faroe Islands and New Zealand.
The drilling units are of a similar design and have all proven strong and consistent performance deliveries.
Our rig portfolio has a proven track record of having the most efficient and best-performing rigs in the North Sea. COSL is setting a new standard in the North Sea with its energy efficiency. Our ambition is to deliver carbon neutral drilling operations within 2025.
