Take Responsibility, The Position:

Legal Counsel - Ethics & Compliance

As Legal Counsel, you will provide comprehensive legal services to support Stokke’s business operations, with a strong focus on compliance and ethics. This position involves working across multiple teams to review contracts, provide legal advice, and drive compliance initiatives, including sustainability efforts.

You will:

• Serve as the primary contact for compliance matters within the Stokke group.
• Develop, implement, and deliver compliance programs and training across the global organization.
• Strengthen business compliance processes, including conducting due diligence checks and assessments of all business partners, and improving internal control procedures.
• Conduct compliance audits and investigations when required.
• Support customer service and other departments with legal topics as they arise.
• Provide general legal support to the organization on day-to-day matters.
• Take on specific tasks or lead projects aligned with the department’s and Global Leadership Team's priorities.
• Report in accordance with the agreed-upon structure.

This role does not include staff management responsibilities.

Better Together, The Ideal Profile:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Legal Counsel who embodies our commitment to collaboration and innovation. The ideal candidate will have:

• A law degree.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience as a legal counsel or at a law firm, with a focus on compliance and ethics.
• Fluent English skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A structured and action-oriented approach to work.
• The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a team environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration capabilities to engage with diverse teams effectively.
