We are looking for a TCP Technical Tool Specialist
We are looking for a new TCP Technical Tool Specialist to join our team in the workshop.
This role will be to provide support for the Operation for all Archer Oiltools locations.
Role
In this role you will provide operational support for Archer Oiltools TCP Productline.
Key responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble Archer Oil Tools equipment in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with work instructions / maintenance manuals.
- Perform and comply with repair and maintenance policies and procedures as directed
- Assist Field Engineers and Technicians with their Perforating training.
- Assist with managing TCP inventory.
- Perform service and maintenance of Oiltools product portfolio according to maintenance manuals and procedures.
- Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures
- Inspect parts / components for wear and necessary repair in accordance with procedures and guidelines
- Approve / disapprove equipment
- Responsible for sustaining 5S ( Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain ) to keep workshop area efficiently organized and equipped with necessary supplies and tools
- Responsible to take good care of Archer Oil Tools equipment and tools
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities
- Testing of new equipment as required
- Control inventory stock levels and coordinate orders accordingly
- Participation in on-call (Duty)
What we are looking for
Education:
- Skilled worker license as Mechanic or similar
- Relevant professional experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience with TCP, Coiled Tubing and/or Wireline Perforating
- Knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools
- ADR/IMDG-Certificate is an advantage.
- Offshore experience with downhole tools or drilling is an advantage.
- Understanding basic pressure and hydraulics
- TCP Level 1 Course, and/or API-RP-67 Course
- Positive attitude and ambition
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Good mechanical and mathematical understanding
- Strong QHSE focus
- Strong level of ownership to your work
- Able to work individual as well as in a team
- Able to obtain police certificate of conduct to work with explosives
Candidates will be evaluated on an ongoing basis.
