The Team

Our Insights team is a multidisciplinary group that includes product, design, engineering, and data science. Together, we are responsible for the full cycle of product development, from ideation and research to prototyping, user testing, and product launches. Our main office is in Oslo, and we work in a hybrid model where we collaborate in person three days a week.

Position Overview

As a Software Engineer on the Insights team, you will play a key role in building user-friendly and scalable software solutions. You’ll work across the stack, designing and implementing systems that make complex data accessible and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable and user-focused SaaS products from concept to release:
• Design intuitive front-end applications for seamless data visualization and user experience.
• Implement reliable back-end systems and APIs.
• Use the latest in technology to improve our Insights product
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle to deliver impactful and user-centered solutions.
• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and exceptional system performance.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.

Required Qualifications

• +3 years of experience developing production-ready software applications, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React and Node.js.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Firebase).
• Knowledge of databases and data processing tools (e.g., Postgres, BigQuery, Elasticsearch) and designing scalable systems.

Bonus If You Have:

• Familiarity with geospatial data or visualization libraries.
• Experience working in startup environments or agile teams.
