Position overview

As Project Manager at OSC, you will be responsible for running projects both with new and existing customers. You will be the main point of contact between our customers and our software engineers.

You will proactively prepare detailed project planning and refine software project requirements to lead the software team towards successful deliveries.

Working with our international customer base you will be delivering simulation solutions at the forefront of complex marine operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of virtual prototyping projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for offshore customers, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate resources effectively, including assigning tasks and managing timelines
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth progress and timely delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality in project deliverables, adhering to OSC software quality insurance protocols and software industry best practices.

Qualifications

• You have relevant experience in managing projects in the software or maritime industry*
• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, computer engineering or similar
• You are a structured person with a strong sense of organisation and have a genuine interest in project management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing software project requirements and priorities.
• You are a self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual who loves to learn and work with other people
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
