Are you our new Project Manager?
Are you ready to drive complex projects to success? Today, OSM Thome is seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team for a long-term modification project onboard one of our client’s offshore units. As a Project Manager, you will play an essential role in leading the extensive modification project providing leadership and strong project EPCI experience to the Project Team. You will be overall responsible for the timely delivery of the project, efficient cost, and performance control throughout the project’s life cycle, and delivering professional project services in accordance with the client’s expectations and in parallel with the ongoing operation offshore. Responsibilities:
The role requires strong skills in project management, risk analysis, and technical understanding of EPCI projects.
Project Management:
- Responsible for project plans, performance, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contractual requirements and objectives.
- Close cooperation and liaison with the operation team and other internal teams
- Ensure seamless integration of project activities such as engineering, procurement, construction, and installation activities.
- Ensure the modification contract is delivered to the client’s expectations
- Monitor the contract and ensure suppliers meet their obligations.
Risk and Change Management:
- Identify and manage risks affecting project progress.
- Lead change processes according to agreed procedures.
Client Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client and supplier and maintain strong relationships.
- Provide regular updates on progress, financials, and risks.
Quality and HSE:
- Ensure all activities comply with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct quality controls and ensure best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing EPCI projects, preferably within oil, gas, renewable energy, or the maritime sector.
- Proven track record in contract management and financial control.
- Strong understanding of the EPCI project lifecycle.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, DNV, API).
- Experience with project management tools such as Safran, Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
