We are currently recruiting for an entry level Factory Inspector to join our team in Nemko Scandinavia. The role will focus on performing factory inspections.

Operating certification services globally, our Factory Inspectors play a key role in delivering these services. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to develop their skills further, including auditing activities under the ATEX directive.

• Conduct on-site inspections of factories to assess compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Evaluate production processes, equipment, and workplace safety practices
• Review and verify adherence to quality assurance systems and certification requirements
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation for internal and client use
• Identify non-conformities and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, industry trends, and certification protocols

• Higher education or equivalent.experience
• Experience with identifying risks and non-conformities
• Understanding of manufacturing practices, quality systems, and workplace safety
• Technical background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry standards and processes (preferred)
• Technical background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
• Proficiency in report writing and using relevant inspection tools and software

• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to translate technical knowledge into value-added services for customers
• Ability to travel frequently to different factory locations including internationally
