Senior Cost Estimator

VARD Interiors is looking for a Senior Cost Estimator that will be accountable for assigned bid and cost estimation processes. Within given limits the Senior Cost Estimator is responsible for the preparation of the calculations and related offers for the sales projects.

Duties and responsibilities

• Analyze and understand technical documentation
• Prepare cost estimates and offers based on technical documentation
• Conducting handover towards the organization once bids have been secured
• Contribute to update the cost database
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials, and costs
  
• Experience in the interior field
• Technical competence is preferred for understanding drawings
• Good software skills (Excel/AutoCAD/CRM)
• Good knowledge and understanding of price levels and KPIs
