We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer

Job Description

• Design, interface, and follow up on the Safety and Automation System (SAS), under the direction of the automation team lead

• Specify Global SAS system designs, covering both modification work and new system integration

• Review technical SAS documentation to ensure compliance and quality

• Develop and complete necessary engineering documents and data registers

• Participate in both hardware and software design processes

• Collaborate closely with other disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and clients

• Offshore surveys may be required

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in automation engineering, particularly in greenfield projects

• At least 6 years’ experience in SAS system design, including SAS/automation network solutions

• Solid knowledge of automation design and networks based on relevant standards (NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, IEC)

• Strong communicator, fluent in English (both written and oral)

• Collaborative attitude and openness to multicultural team environments

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Systematic, accurate, and committed to meeting deadlines and quality standards

• Proactive, with a willingness to seek advice and share knowledge

• Valid FSE course certificate

• Valid Ex course certificate
